SUMMARY

I’m a creative leader who’s spent more than 25 years building brands, shaping in-house teams, and leading award-winning work across just about every industry you can name. I’ve helped global giants and scrappy start-ups alike, scaling teams into high-performing agencies or rolling up my sleeves to get the work done.

 

At the heart of everything I do is a balance: building strong brands and building strong teams. I love turning insights into big ideas, guiding campaigns from strategy through execution, and creating environments where creative people can thrive while driving real business results.

  • Built a 65+ person in-house agency for seven national brands, cutting outside agency spend by 95% and saving more than $1M in the first year.

  • Reduced employee turnover by 77% while raising the creative bar and improving collaboration across departments.

Executive Creative Director, ‘22 to Present

I was hired to build something new: a full-scale in-house agency to support seven national restaurant brands. Starting with a blank slate, I shaped the vision, structure, operations, and culture, then scaled a hybrid team of more than 65 full-time and freelance creatives.

Together, we’ve elevated brand storytelling, delivered nationally recognized work, driven EBITDA growth, and even cracked the viral code on TikTok with millions of organic views.

MORRISON

Independent Ad Agency

Chief Creative Officer, ‘13 to ‘21

Took charge of uniting the agency’s digital and traditional creative teams, creating one seamless department. Led B2C and B2B campaigns for Samsung, Mitsubishi, RaceTrac, and Good2Grow. A highlight: launching Samsung appliances into the homebuilder market, opening a $1B+ sales pipeline.

Executive Creative Director, ‘11 to ’13

Helped evolve a digital shop into a full-service marketing partner. Won new business with Estée Lauder, Riunite Wines, and others, while creating Modea’s first integrated B2B campaign for Vitrue (later acquired by Oracle).

SVP, Executive Creative Director,  ‘94 to ’11

Started as an Art Director and grew into SVP/ECD, leading campaigns for AT&T, Delta, Capital One, Bayer, and more. Managed multimillion-dollar budgets, cross-functional teams, won global creative awards, and served on BBDO Atlanta’s Board of Directors.
